Prompt me please, what normal fuel consumption in the city mode?

My fuel consumption in city 30l/100km...
I think it is a very large expense for 850ci (M70).

Lion78,

My 840Ci get 17 - 20 mpg w/AC on in Dallas, TX depending on my Right-Foot power. We have open street-Hwys w/ avg traffic doing 80 in a 65!

i've been averaging just under 13 mpg around town... i'm not sure what kind of consumption that converts to in metric, i know it's pretty low compared to previous cars i've had. but they didn't have a V12...

My consumption in MPG, the same?
but I think that it much.

My friends tell that for them consumption 9-11mpg (or 20-24l/100km).
To trust them?

^ check that link for consumption figures. the 850 isn't very thrifty, and it's a lot worse if you accelerate hard. (but it's just so fun it might be worth the price...)

I understand it.
But I am interested in this question, because there can be a car not in good condition...

I notice a big difference when I am driving with a slightly heavier foot. If I am conservative I can get close to 21mpg but if I just step on it a bit more than usual, it falls to 17 averaging easily. But it is soooo much fun.

10mpg or less does sound really low, unless you're accelerating hard most of the time. fwiw, my car that gets 13mpg around town averaged 20mpg on an 800 mile road trip this past weekend.
