I need help with my DSP system. I read on forums that peple just remove the DSP, but i can't find anything else beside 'remove it'. Do i really want to remove it?

I've also read that there is a stock amp in the car.

Can someone please help me with putting in my 2-10" Power Acoustic Subs w/ a 980w Power Acoustic Amp into my '01 740iL.

I've installed over 20 systems in friends cars, but none were as nice and complex as this. And i've also have a B.A. in Computer Engineering, so i could almsot build all of the stereo equipment from scratch. I just haven't found enough info online.

Any help with be appreciated.

seems like an easy way to do it would be to use an amp that has speaker level inputs, then just splice into the wires going to the rear decklid speakers or something.
