remove the little circle plastic piece in the door and roll the window up with the allen key, if its not in your tool kit, just use a generic metric allen key/socket with ratchet.

how does a nonworking window moter go to when they made the 528 till? theres gotta be a fuse blown somewhere but i dont know where. someone should know more.

didn't mean to offend you, the fuse may not be blown just bad contact. Has happened to me on my 88 528e and the only reason for the ??? is that when I look for parts there is no listing for 89 528e like 82-88. Sorry for the confusion
