I bought a wrecked 97 540i, I pulled the engine to fix the frame. I figure I might as well do some maintenance while Ive got the engine out. What would you recommend?. Im changing the rad, a/c condensor, coolant reservoir tank and pretty much the entire front end.

Swap in an LS1 :)

How many miles are on it? How good are you with engines? If it has higher miles I would go to town on it, and come out with a fresh motor.
