Anyone know anything about hardwiring an ipod connector on a z4?
That depends. An ICElink (?) or just the 1/8" stereo jack that comes with the BMW kit (often replacing the ash tray). I've done the latter, but not the former.

I have also installed a Mini 1/8th jack in both of my cars.

On the E46...I had to get a USASpec Aux Input Kit (about $70) and plug it into the pre-wiring for a CD Changer.

On the E30...I bought a headunit with Aux Input built in.

Very happy with both.

It's Chris Hansen, the guy on "Dateline NBC" who has made a cottage industry (and ratings bonanza) of busting internet perverts who show up at houses loaded with hidden cameras to meet underage kids for teh sechs.
