View Full Version : F*^#ing rock busted my headlight. fast1eddy 03-15-2007, 09:08 PM I had to put my M3 back on the road early cause i broke the side window in my 320 :mad (don't ask). So second day driving it and i get a rock through my left headlight. I hate Edmonton roads. Icabob 03-15-2007, 09:17 PM Before you install your new headlight, get the rock guard film put on it.It might have saved this headlight??I have it on the 540,and I've seen the light haze that a rock leaves on it about 10 times so far,and my light is fine. Icabob 03-15-2007, 09:18 PM And you know I have to ask....what did you do to the side window...lol???? Bears 03-15-2007, 09:18 PM ya.. stoneguard is your friend and it's pretty cheap :) Sorry about your headlight dude fast1eddy 03-15-2007, 10:54 PM And you know I have to ask....what did you do to the side window...lol???? I was putting in a new window regulator and when i tried to connect the second arm into the slider ... boom the window broke. I hate when i try to fix one thing then break another, the extra money should be spent on mods. MMmmmpower 03-15-2007, 11:12 PM That sucks man, and I know how you feel about edmonton's shitty ass roads....they're getting outta control Icabob 03-16-2007, 12:56 AM Yeah, that does suck.I read in the paper the other day that the city is expecting a record amount of damage claims from the potholes this spring.Could be in the millions of dollars. Flamewerks 03-16-2007, 01:20 AM Well, at least we know the $7 billion surplus, and debt free thing is doing good. World leader in roads, health care, education, social system, etc. O shit, no, that's Germany, never mind....:) refplusten 03-16-2007, 09:37 PM Yeah Capital city of the richest province in Canada and the roads are worse than ones in Nova Scotia!!!! Can you send a damage claim to the city???? Where would you send them???? I have a bill for a split tire and a bent rim for those FU%$#ERS! Can I send them a bill for my windshield too? Icabob 03-16-2007, 11:22 PM I don't know about the windshield, but phone city hall, and they'll give you the address to where to send it too.Give the windshield a try as well, what do you have to loose?? fast1eddy 03-16-2007, 11:44 PM Well it only gets better. On my way home on Yellowhead today i got a nice big chip in my windshield. My car is too dirty to tell but i'm sure i've got a few new rock chips in the paint too.:mad jensklemp 03-18-2007, 11:49 PM Are you looking to replace it with stock lights or are you upgrading? I have a set of stock lights laying around if you want to buy them (or just the one side)... fast1eddy 03-20-2007, 12:30 AM Are you looking to replace it with stock lights or are you upgrading? I have a set of stock lights laying around if you want to buy them (or just the one side)... Thanks for the offer. They're already upgraded, ZKW euro ellipsoids. I've already ordered a replacement lens but if one breaks again i'll get the lexan lenses from Autobraun. I got some protective film (Smashguard) from Canadian Tire, not very good, real thick and doesn't stick well. Any recommendations where to get thinner, less noticeable film. jensklemp 03-20-2007, 01:22 AM lamin-x search for Habbie.
