Does anyone know how to get in direct contact with one of the administrators of mye28.com? I am having login trouble and the admin@mye28.com email is not working...

i am having the same problems

The reason it's harder to register there now is because the site got hit not too long ago with spammers/idiots. The new member approval procedure takes a bit longer now as a result. I'm a member there, so PM me your email addresses and screennames and I'll see what I can do.

i too am having the same problem. never recieved the confirmation email from the admin. tried emailing him a few times, no response. can anyone help me out? thanks in advance.

you guys just gotta play it patient. the admins try to filter through registrants. i believe it took 2 months to get my approval however since then i've enjoyed participating in what is definitely the e28 resource.

i have been having trouble as well. i have been waiting since october. if someone can ask the admin team to activate mmmmgasm, that would be greatly appreciated!

feels like too much of a small community with many of the members being older, with very little patience

you almost get your head bitten off if you dont do a good search. This really makes me mad since it helps to get a quick answer from someone who knows than get a "search,search,search" which only turns up the DIY you need (which is missing your needed answer) and 45 other threads that have nothing to do with your topic /endrant

the setup isn't nearly as good as the e30 boards, but this is probably due to the fact it has fewer members, and thus less turnover.

Oh well, I find its a great place to browse thru, but I almost don't want to post.

ahh u guys are crazy! My e28.com is a great forum sight!!! i have learned so much from that sight and gotten tons of parts and advice there. Its not all just a bunch of older guys... there are plenty of young guys like myself too... the old guys just don't have anything better to do so the post all day. anyway its a great sorce and easy to use. Just be patient, once u get on u'll love it.

Those guys are great and they're not all old (16-60YO) which means lots of good questions and alot of knowledgeable answers.

Well, like any group of people, there are some quirks. Its the same here, really. If some dude posts up a pic of the e36 he just bought, you can count on some dude saying "Needs clears, ltw, drop." So, really, here are a few things you should know about mye28.com before you post:

1. The grand majority of us are a little older than the e30/36 crowd. Generally, college age and up.
2. We tend to be extremely sarcastic. Sarcasm doesn't always translate over the internet.
3. Everyone on mye28.com knows the search function sucks. I've NEVER been able to find what I need with that damn thing. So if you're looking for info, consult your Bentley manual first, then ask a question on mye28.
