I have an 02 CB on Black Leather m3...as much as i love the color combo I cant stop looking at M's with Red or Cinnamon Leather.

1 - Can you even find Factory Leather Seats in either of these colors?
2 - Is it even worth considering (price/time) ?

Also I am going to upgrade to CSL wheels (i have factory 19s now)...any thoughts on Authentic vs Knock Offs? Obviously price but in addition to that...

Anyway I am a new M owner..picked up my (first) car in December and i travel for work so i haven't driven it much...lookin forward to the summer thats for sure

thanks...

I've been wanting a Cinn interior for my LSB M, but when I bought mine it wasn't an available option anymore. It seems that it was possible in the '01/02 years and then discontinued for LSB. AFAIK, Cinn was available with other colors up until now.

I'd be interested in doing an interior swap at some point, but by the time I locate one, the seats will have too much wear for my taste I'm afraid. Mine is still perfect since I don't drive it much. The E36 is the DD.

I, like you, am a fan other the other interiors and imola was my first preference. After living with black for 2 years, I don't even consider 'swapping' for red anymore. I like the black as it looks good and is easy to keep clean.

As for wheels...I would recommend OEM over knock offs due o strength and quality. You can get ZCP for about $1800, but make sure you're ready to pay for the rubber too as it's about $1200.

I was in your shoes a couple of days ago and opted for the OEM's after looking at my buddy's replicas, Big difference in quality, you can tell the difference as soon as you open the first box.

You can always get something like Katzkins. Find a dealer that does them, they can totally re-leather your seats. The leather they use is better than OEM usually. They have tons of colors, so you can find a match to the stock red/cinnamon. Probably would cost around $1000 front and rear.

I recall a few months ago someone was selling their entire cinnamon interior for about $1800 or so; I believe they were going to track their car?
