I have an E60 and I wanted to get a darker tint on my tail lights. I know the new 3 series have an option to buy this from bmw itself. Does anyone know if bmw makes this for the E60? If so how can I go about getting this?

Hella makes a tinted OEM light. bekkers.com sells it. Otherwise, you could go to a reputable shop and get them to do it for a few hundred bucks.
