A friend of mine was parked by my E46 today and liked the wider chrome areas of the hood grilles and was wondering if something like that was available for his E39.

I looked at RealOEM to see about a comparison but the pics were too small to tell if they had the same shape/size mounting opening. Does anyone know if E46 grilles will fit an E39, or if something is made aftermarket for the E39's?
