I am about to buy a used cluster. Is there a way to test it? Mine works sometimes, but then again, sometimes it doesn't. I would hate to get 10 miles down the road and it be bad, too......

thinking about it.... my temp and fuel gauges are dead with my current one. I guess maybe if those are good, I might be good...... but that's not saying it'll be as bad as mine, it could still have other issues, right?

Bruno's site has a cheap cluster fix involving capacitor replacement. Have you tried that yet? IIRC, there is also a diagnostic procedure /self test there, something to do with the button on the RH side of the cluster.

Yea, I Am Actually Taking A Trip To Savannah This Weekend For St Patties Day. The Guy That Was Gonna Do The Solder Work Can't Do It Until This Weekend. I Don't Wanna Take Any Chances On That Trip With No Temp Gauge. So I Broke Down And Just Bought A Cluster. I Got The Entire Cluster Assembly For 75 Bucks. Couldn't Pass On That Deal........lol
