Man I wish I could wash. But down here, it would be covered in pollen before I turned around. Looks nice.

Thanks.. I know how you feel. We finally got a couple good days of weather. Knowing my luck, it'll rain tomorrow. :(

Just washed all the salt off mine today and I love the way the black paint shines. Props to all the Alpines, but give me the Schwartz black any day. Weather is finally getting nice up here in NY too.

Nice. When are you going to get a few mods under your belt?

Very nice! One of life's simple pleasures is washing your BMW and admiring the finished product.

Appreciate that. I actually wanted to take care of some of the mechanical stuff before I started throwing money in on mods. No point of having a sexy car sitting in front that doesn't run. :) I really don't even know where to start. I'm up in the air on the wheel setup that I want. Plus I'd really like to do a 6-speed swap,

I would start with wheels and tires. Perhaps suspension as well. Definately do the Euro moulding, headlights and tails. You would be suprised how great the Euro clear tails look on alpine. By Euro Clear, I don't mean the cheesy Jewel clear ones. The ones I am talking about are the same as US OEM, but with white turn signals. See my sig......

At least you already have alpine lower panels. That is the first thing needed on the alpines

Yeah, definitely want to do the suspension, wheels and tires in the near future. It's a toss up between M-pars or style 5's. The military might be taking me to Mayport, FL here in the near future. It would be nice to have a decent setup to flaunt when I get down there.

I just got OEM M-pars for mine and had them powdercoated hyper silver. I have a thread on them somewhere in the E34 category. They look amazing. I think on an alpine, the M-pars look better than the style 5's, but it is all preference. BTW, I wouldn't be mad at ya if you went with the M-pars also :)

Good to hear... ...After seeing the powdercoated M-pars in that thread, I damn near made up my mind. :D They came out fantastic...

I agree. They look 10 times better than any other US finish IMO. You should see them in person. Of coarse it did cost me $130 per wheel to do the finish

Money well spent. I'm sure I'll get a chance to see 'em if there's a meet sometime this summer. I've yet to go to one.

There is a local group in RIC called Capital City Motorworks that meet once a month or so. But there are a bunch of guys who meet at a local lot here in Richmond every friday. Most of us are a bit older. 25+ and there are some nice cars. My pops Z's, several Lotus's, ferraris, RX7's, Evos and STI's, Porsches and BMW's. Let me know if you ever want to head West

I might have to do that. I'm 26 so I'm sure I'll fit it pretty well.
