By shipped, I'm assuming that you mean hiring someone else to transport it? S.Lang 03-09-2007, 01:29 PM I think most companies want it to at least roll and steer. Or at the very least have it on a dolly. txse46m3 03-09-2007, 01:29 PM Build casters that bolt into the front lolipop mounting holes and subframe mounting holes. nick325xit 5spd 03-09-2007, 02:25 PM Have you considered dropping it on a trailer on some old tires and paying a guy with a pickup? And no, I certainly can't claim credit for that idea, having been "inspired" by RRT. empty 03-09-2007, 05:15 PM Have you considered dropping it on a trailer on some old tires and paying a guy with a pickup? They'll pretty much ship anything as long as it's fastened to standard pallets. robbo mcs 03-10-2007, 03:29 PM How about a non-auto shipping company? They get a fork lift, lift it onto a pallet, and the freight companies transported the cars like that. I was at the docks picking up my car from the ship, and it was a sad sight to see a forklift unloading several destroyed porsche GT3's and turbos. Cheers Robbo |
