Hello everyone, I'm interested in purchasing a 1988-1991 325i or 325is model 5-speed in the next month or two. I live in Manhattan, NY, but am willing to travel about 150 miles in any direction (except through the water, of course, bad joke) to find good example.

Basically, I'm looking for a car in the best shape possible. I'm hoping to spend no more than about $4000 but if you've got a mint car nearby with minimal rust and decent mileage, I'd consider paying a bit more.

My e-mail address is Hyrwakejumpr@aol.com and you can contact me there if you'd like to PM...I'm pretty new to the forum and can't do it yet.
Thanks for your time!

tcycles--thanks for the reality check :thumbsup

Hahaha not to be a jerk man but... your demands are CRAZY if you're only willing to pay $4000. Less than 100,000, first of all, practically does not exist on e30s anymore and if you're lucky enough to find one then you're looking at a ton of money. "ZERO RUST" is rare in the atlantic belt region you're searching in and once again fetches a hefty price. I'm really not trying to be a cock I just really think you need to re-evaluate your price range or lower your standards a little bit. On a brighter note though... e30s reach REAL high mileage so I'd say change that 100,000 miles to a 200,000 miles and you'll be fine. They're sweet rides.
