I bought the larger version of the Cruisecam, the one that mounts to both headrests. At first I was pretty disappointed in how much vibration I was getting in the video, but realized I hadn't used the restraint strap to tie the camera down.
Now, the vibration is much less, but seems like it could be better. Maybe the country roads I was testing it on are just bumpy.
Does anyone know of a product to further isolate the camera from the mount?
I thought I saw someone mention something about this in another post, but I can't find it now.
Thanks

Thanksa person in each seat will do a lot to make the camera more secure.

Having tried a number of variations on that mount I cam to the realization that the poor video quality was from movement of the seat backs. A tension strap helps, as does having both seats occupied. But I don't think you'll ever get the quality that a rigid camera mount produces.

Put it on the driver's seat.
My homemade headrest mount shows little to no vibration...

I have a tension strap running from my homemade headrest camera mount back to the baby seat eyelet on the rear deck. Pulling the strap tight helps a lot in reducing camera shake.
