On January 14th I ordered an amp, some edead, and two subwoofers from Elemental Designs. They charged my credit card (for everything) on Jan 15th.

To eD's credit, I received the amp and edead on Jan 18th. Unfortunately, these items have been sitting in my garage for two months waiting for the subwoofers to arrive.

Jan 14th - Order placed

Jan 25th : I send an email wondering where my subwoofers are. I am told that they had an international order that wiped out their stock and that more will be built soon. This is perfectly understandable, although it would have been nice to get an update from eD instead of me having to contact them

Feb 8th: I call in and I'm told that the subs are being assembled and should ship with a week.

Feb 22nd: I send an email wondering why the subs haven't shipped yet, I'm told quote "Sorry about the delay. They should start shipping today/tomorrow as they only need dustcaps to be glued."

Feb 23rd: I talk to live support and I'm told "The guy who would know is at lunch but yea I believe that they have started shipping already or will start in the next few days."

March 7th: My tracking number still has not updated to show that the subs have shipped. And here I am, still waiting...

I feel as though I have given Elemental Designs every chance to ship these subwoofers to me without me responding negatively. However, it has been 52 DAYS since I ordered them I still do not have them. I realize that stock gets wiped out, but I ordered two subs, not a friggin 747. It shouldn't take two months to restock subs. Yet in the meantime I get spammed with continuously emails about new products coming out and developmental crap.

This has all been completely unacceptable. Not only that, but eD has not sent me a single update regarding my order's status; I've had to continuously contact them to get any information.

The lesson to be learned here is that if something you order from eD is out of stock, better cancel it and go somewhere else because who knows when you'll actually receive it. Two months and still waiting here... :angryfire

I'd give them one more chance to provide you a tracking # then if not, proceed with contesting the charges on your credit card.

Called on Thursday (3/8) and was told that "my order was on top" and was "definitely going to ship out later today."

Today is Monday (3/12) and the tracking number has not updated to show as shipped yet. I will give them till Thursday on the off chance that they shipped with a different tracking number. Thursday will be TWO MONTHS since I placed my order and that is the last chance I am giving them.

incredibly sorry to hear that. I still wonder if they really make their subs in house or not.
