Help I have lost my only key to my 1986 635 csi

Are locksmiths of any use in these situations?

I've only one key to mine, I think it's time for me to get a duplicate.

Take your vehicle registration and ID to the dealer, they will order new keys for you. I did it last year, about $15US each.

This works very well and only takes a few days. It is amazing how the new key compares to the many copys from the local hardware store. You will also have options on the type of key (lighted, small head and large head).

How lucky is that. Also quite a deal. I only have one alarm key for my e39 and they want $157.95 + tax to make me a new one.$170 for a key.But I have to tell myself one day I will wish I did if I don't:eek:
