Hello, I have a question for the e28 guys. My buddy has an old 528e and wants to swap in another cluster. Do the clusters remove in the usual manner? Meaning, remove trim, remove cluster, unplug connectors, pull cluster out. I've done cluster swaps several times in e30's and e36's and it is very straight forward so I'm assuming same goes for an e28?

Also, anyone have an extra cluster they want to sell?

Yes, straight forward. Take off steering wheel, two screws hold cluster in at the top. From there just unplug everything and then plug it into the new cluster.
