Thanks, xatlas0 03-06-2007, 08:08 PM Another member here, I think his username is bsaint, has done it. Julian 03-06-2007, 09:18 PM no he hasn't, but kavkazia has. ModenaM3 03-06-2007, 09:53 PM Kavkazia has no ABS or Airbags though, which are kinda important to me. Sure, the swap can be done, but getting all of the equipment to work is key.. for me at least. Call Koala Motorsports and see if they have. Im sure they would be helpful. StouffvilleZ3 03-10-2007, 12:33 AM Aparantly getting the wiring right is very time consuming. You're trying to mate up two generations of engine electronics architecture. Not easy, 38 pages of wiring diagrams just for the head alone. A guy here in T.o. did it. I've since lost touch with him. calves2997 03-14-2007, 05:41 PM Its a much easier proposition if you get the S54 from an M Coupe >2001, which mates the E36/E30 platform to the S54. Otherwise you can simply get the engine harness from BMW for the M coupe: should fit. |
