View Full Version : FS: Diffs online 3.38 rear diff
Eric1H 03-03-2007, 09:47 AM I'm looking to get a 3.64 or 3.73 rear diff.
What i have now is a 3.38LSD Diff from DIffsonline, with prob 30k miles on it.
100% perfect, a little dirty, but perfect, no noises, no leaks.
Asking $700+shipping
ndcruz 03-05-2007, 02:37 AM Does this have the 4 Bolt or the 6 Bolt flange?
mitch48 03-05-2007, 11:41 AM Was this a diff that diffsonline reworked, or just a used one they sold you as is? I might be interested. Also, same question as ndcruz, 4 bolt or 6?
Eric1H 03-05-2007, 12:35 PM My impression was it was inspected/checked/cleaned, but because it had so few miles on it, it wasn't in need of a rebuild/refresh

Its a little dirty as it just came off the car, i need to get it cleaned up..
Its a 6 bolt flange
wimpwgn 03-05-2007, 12:39 PM Eric, let me check if my flange is also a 6 bolt. If it is, I'll most likely buy it off you. How are you going to ship something this big?
Eric1H 03-08-2007, 04:48 PM Bump, still for sale, I found my new diff so it's ready to move!!
shipping shouldnt be too bad, i'll just make a little 2x4 crate bolt it down
damn, if I didn't find a 3.38 last week, I would've bought this.
hotshu 03-09-2007, 05:44 AM Eric, what's the going price for a 3.64 or 3.73 diff from a private seller? Or did you get from a retailer like diffsonline?
Eric1H 03-09-2007, 08:49 AM I went with Metrix Motorsports, it was $1100 plus shipping
a private seller used I'd say @ $800-900
hotshu 03-09-2007, 09:44 AM Eric, does $1100 get you all new lsd parts (40% lock?) & diff is refreshed where needed, or a complete rebuild?
Eric1H 03-09-2007, 09:47 AM yes, 40% lock, he says "totally rebuilt" new bushings, bearings, clutches, etc, for an extra $200 you can get a 4th clutch and another $200 you can get 30deg ramp angles
Eric1H 03-10-2007, 12:18 PM weekend bump
propr`one 03-10-2007, 11:58 PM Why does everyone care so much if it has a 4bolt or 6bolt flange?
Isn't it pretty simple to swap them with whichever diff you're removing from the car?
m3Raleigh 03-11-2007, 08:27 PM BUMP -- somebody buy this thing already.
Eric1H 03-14-2007, 08:23 PM Sold!
CABimmer 04-02-2007, 05:25 PM My factory diff has a 6 bolt flange but a 4 bolt u-joint type of drivshaft atached. Is that normal for what everyone has?
