I'm contemplating buying a 07 530i through the military sales in Italy, and I'm not sure if it's worth the money to wait on the 08. Not sure, but I'm assuming if you can get a sweet deal like that, you should probably wait. However, I'm sure 535 will start at the high 40 range or earlier 50 range, depends on the success and allocation. Navybusa 03-09-2007, 11:27 AM I just talked to the local military sales guy and he said production for 535 would start in June due to some engine issue. Not sure if it was a shortage or other type of delay. He finally received the military price sheet showing a base price of 43850. Not bad since it includes the ship home fee when I leave. Torquey5 03-19-2007, 02:32 PM Production for the 535s have already begun. My report shows one 535i on it's way to Oxnard so I'm guessing sometime in April, if not early May. As for the 08 550s, they're still showing scheduled for production.
