Shannon, I'm ready to order everything for the rears.
Dark Helmet 03-02-2007, 10:01 AM and I should say I've got a bunch of re-wiring to do at the front of the car... I've decided not to put the fogs back in, so hunting down some brake ducts, then removing the plumbing for the HID fogs, re-wiring the aux fan, re-routing the plug wires, front brakes.
oofta... if the weather would clean up I could get a start on all of this.
Dark Helmet 03-02-2007, 10:02 AM AND, in two weeks we're doing shocks/struts on Orron's M3, as well as a fuel filter and some other minor maintenance.

GotCone? 03-02-2007, 10:54 AM I've got some Koni SA's going on. Debating if I'll add some ground control spring/sleeves to it or not. Giving up on stock class so plan to sell my new Rotas whenever they arrive and pick up some 17x9" ASA AR2's or other wheel in same size. May wait until the 235/40 Hankooks are worn down and then get them with some 245/40 Stones (RE-01R). Want to do a 2 into 1 2.5" STU legal exhaust as well. Well see what time/money allow.
Driving/enjoying it is the main goal. I've got a fast friend as my co-driver for autocross this season. hopefully we can push each other to get faster. Taking an easier year this season, have my second child due in late July too. Should be a busy year regardless.

Just Blaze 03-02-2007, 10:57 AM My first project is to actually acquire the M. Then I'll figure out where to go, probably CAI first.

I can order it through James Clay at bimmerworld as they are about the only distributors for those. I am thinking it is like 160 or so.

Is all this stuff on that red 318 you got? That thing is gotta be all new by now isnt it?
If I had to go through all that crap that car would be a burned out hulk at the bottom of the Mississippi by now.

its funny that you say it like that...
it is all for the pile of 4-banger I got last summer. the tires are just because I put snows on it for the winter and will need them off in another month. and the tires it came with were pretty much done.
as for the whole "light the car on fire" ordeal... you have no idea how badly I really want to do that at the moment.
AlarmedBread 03-02-2007, 05:39 PM Looks like you're having fun Shannon, great to see it being put back together!
I've got some little piddly stuff to do before the mph weekend.
Radiator, ps rebuild(maybe), some rear bushings the PO overlooked, fix the windows so they work and such, shifter, might have to replace windshield, oh and uh I should probay fix it so it doesn't backfire like crazy :eyecrazy
Other than that, just flush all the fluids and lube up the pedals. I've got some old tires that need to be used up :evil2
