I searched but didn't find anything. Have you guys heard about this? http://www.genoamotorsports.com/ Looks like it's about 100 miles from denver out east. 6.26 mile long track put together, thats huge!

I want my M3 back :(

The plan is simple - bring a top-notch racing facility to the Denver region. Though nothing is guaranteed at this point, we're looking to break ground on the planned 6.26 mile track with a 3.72 mile circuit and a 3.17 mile circuit, multi-configuration road course as early as 2007.

What is Genoa Motorsports Country Club? (GMCC)
Genoa Motorsports Country Club will be the owner and operator of the planned 6.26 mile track with a 3.72 mile circuit and a 3.17 mile circuit, multi-configuration road course. This track will be home to all racing enthusiasts in Colorado and the surrounding areas. We envision an enthusiast friendly track with elevation changes and plenty of run-off with first class amenities. This will be for club members, car clubs, and race sanctioning bodies. We intend to provide a facility that will pass inspection by FIA, FIM, SCCA, NASA, and AMA.

What is Genoa Motorsports Park? (GMP)
Genoa Motorsports Park is a separate entity, which manages the 2700 acres of land upon which the 6.26 mile road course (and other potential venues) will be be built on. Any future venues that might be built on the land will be privately owned and operated independant of Genoa Motorsports Park.

Well, I heard about this down at 3R racing in denver and apparently it's in the "funding" stage and many people doubt it will happen. :(

that's a huge project... I'd love to have a "members garage" at a place like that or even out at hastings, but the money they command makes it tough to really generate interest.

Actually, maybe autoxfreak will chime in here. I am being told that it is the most promising proposal since Second Creek closed up. We all have heard of CAMP I'm sure, as well as a few others. This one has some guys heading it up that are doing everything in their power to make it happen. I wouldn't be suprised if it actually goes through. It is definitely something we need here in CO!

I don't care who wins it... I just want them to call me to invest it.

From what I've gathered this is the most likely out of the proposed race tracks in the Colorado area. As far as I know they are still looking for enough funding. Hopefully it happens since this would be a huge boost to the racing community in Colorado.
