Rare Loaded E36 M3 sedan (w/ engine damage) for IMMEDIATE SALE!!! – Beautiful Black M3/4 one-of-a-kind OBDI configuration.
This car was envisioned by my friend and its previous owner, a driver and team member for Speedvision Racing for BMW. The original body – and ONLY the original chassis/body -- was a 1992 325 (i.e. what you pay insurance for according to the VIN). Professional BMW mechanics replaced EVERY component/part in the car with that of a SCCA e36 M3 racecar, so down to the hubs is racing spec M3. There is literally NO PART on the car from a 325 other than the chassis. As such, any future upgrade or replacement for any existing component (drivetrain, suspension, exterior, interior, etc.) must be with M3 parts (again, nothing remains from the 325, except that you do not pay the extremely high insurance rates on the M).
This rare e36 M3 sedan has over $12,000 of aftermarket products and countless hours of work painstakingly poured into it. Complete BMW M racing transmission, M racing-stock suspension kit, 14" brake kit (all from the SCCA Speedvision Racing M3). Upgrades to the factory OBDI 3.OL (rare, more modifiable, engine) M-stock drivetrain include: ECU upgrade chip, stage 3 racing clutch, Rogue Engineering DMS Dual Muffler System Exhaust, Active Autowerks rear strut tower brace, short throw shifter.
Exterior upgrades include: Angle Eyes Halo Projector Headlamps, clear corners, side indicators and rear brake lights, MA Shaw e36 Composite Wing (the expensive and rare original wing from the factory M3 Lightweight racecar), M3 front aero kit and spoiler, M3 sideskirts, tinted windows, ROH 17" custom Black 5-spoke Racing Rims w/ high performance z-rated tires, shaved antenna (no visible radio antennae, it is concealed). Interior: Black leather seats with rare leather M series logos (front and rear) and doorsills, full power seats and windows, Alpine CD/MP3 Head Unit with remote, Alpine 200 watt amp, unbelievable sounding MB Quart component speaker system (front) and MB Quart coaxial rear speakers, Monster Cable wiring, 6 CD changer, etc, etc.
There is very little wear on the interior; all the ///M leather is in very good shape w/ M logos adorning the seats (front AND back) and headrests. The Alpine 7894 in-dash CD/MP3 head unit perfectly replaces the stock radio (which I still have), I was so specific as to find a stereo with matching amber display to blend seamlessly with the interior light scheme. The MB Quart component speaker system (sub, tweeter and midrange) are mounted in the door in the factory locations. All the Monster Cable wiring was carefully laid in under the carpeting and is completely concealed. The only small interior problem is the clips for the driver side door panel need to be replaced (literally $0.35/each). The exterior is in great conditions with hardly a blemish.
Too many other add-ons to list. This car has incredible features and was my baby until engine problems and lack of time caused me to have to give it up. THE ENGINE IS DAMAGED AND NEEDS WORK OR REPLACEMENT (approx. $2,000). That is why I am giving my M3, worth well over $20,000 with over $30K invested, away for such a bargain. I meticulously maintained my car for years and am looking for someone who can appreciate the finest handling machine I have ever had the privilege to own, but sadly no longer have the time to enjoy. Please email me at adam.j.jaffe@gmail.com with any additional questions. Detailed pictures of everything available upon request.
