I'm starting a new Miami thread since I don't see any, I don't think the dude asking for everyone's underwear size is a legit miami thread. So post up sightings, weekly or monthly gatherings and anything else that people need or want locally.

I dont know of any bmw specific gatherings so if there is i'd like to know. If not then lets see if we can find a place and time to start one.

Damn so far 67 people have said they're going to that. Looks like it's gonna be a pretty sweet gathering. I have school right there so i'll be right next to it.

The tropical park thing has been going on forever... I used to go down there back in 2001. It's a VW thing but the guys there are friendly to all sorts of cars. Great guys!

Damn Rich, your car looks sick with the new wheels.

I'm up for the 11th (or anything else, really) if I still have the M3. I'm having a hard time letting it go. I turned down a sure buyer today because he was $500 short of my minimum price. It's just sitting there but I like it too much :cool

I just found out today i'm not going to be able to make it to anything this weekend, i'm going to be in Atlanta. It sucks too, I really wanted to get this started and at least for me i'm gonna have to wait until the next gathering.

If you're in no hurry to sell it, then it's no big deal, if your patient you'll get what you want considering all the stuff you've done to get nice and neat. I've been around your neighborhood a couple of times this week, but it was pretty late, and I didn't have your number anymore, lol. pm me and let me know again so whenever i'm around there I can stop by and show you the car and to check out your new s2000

bimmeracer3: sounds good about planning a meet. The only thing is, if we're planning on taking pics at the kendall airport, I don't think it would be a good idea to do it on the same day as meeting up in ft.laud or further north. Driving from south kendall to ft.laud ain't a walk in the park at 6pm you know, lol

pretty lame.

but im pretty sure ill be good for May 12th.
http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=740860

i still need to replace a tensioner/idler pulley for the AC. dont want that to seize up and take everyone out again... it runs fine, but i still got some loud as hamsters running on that squeeky wheel under the hood.

care to help a brotha out?

i just drove by the 395 causeway at 7pm yesterday. right before the bridge, would be a very perfect spot at that time. it would be even better if i had a techno-violet M3 to go with the lights...

anybody know of a good place to get a hand car wash? my car is too low and i like my curb rash-less wheels too much to put it through a machine.
im not looking for a place that will take $20 from me every week.

I go to a wand wash off US 1 and around SW 200 st (about one block south of the Turnpike overpass). Takes $2 to do it quick, $4 to do it right.

Quick:
Put $2 in (minimum to get started), wet car with soap water, use soap brush (not sure of material so use at your own risk), rinse with wax, rinse with spot-free water. You have 5 minmutes to do all this. Drive 100 mph on Turnpike to dry it.

Right:
Bring your own rags and bucket, put $2 in, fill bucket, rinse car with water, rinse car with soap water until the time runs out (skip brush if you want), use your rags and take your time to wash your car by hand. When done, put another $2 in, rinse off with wax, apply clear coat protectant, apply pink paint shine stuff (don't know if those work but you have the time so why not?), rinse with wax again, rinse with spot-free water.

Damn water restrictions :mad

It's on US-1 and around 37ave or so. I never take my car anywhere for that so that's the only place I know that's big and has a good rep. Luckily I have the driveway on the side that I could put my car in and close the gates, so i'm hidden from he water restrictions, lol

Where are you? There's a similar wand wash on Miller Drive (SW 56th Street), about a mile east from the Palmetto. I don't like it as much because it doesn't have a visible timer (just a warning buzzer) and I think they cheat you out of time when you add extra money. Plus they don't have the pink stuff.

They frown upon bucket washing. They basically don't want you taking up a wash bay unless you're spending money. I usually just have my shit ready and wash fast, then I take it to the Kmart parking lot next door to detail.

So I want to check the codes to find out what could be wrong if anyone can help me out. I'd be willing to pay a few bucks for anyone to help me I don't mind. Hey guys, i'm planning on getting together with a buddy of mine who recently got an E36 M3 and doing a photoshoot. I know we've been planning it on here for a while but our cars always ended up crapping on themselves every time. So let's do it again.

We were thinking that some place in key biscayne would be a really nice spot. Get there around 6-7 in time when the sun's coming down to get some nice lighting. Preferably a weekday so there won't be many cars around there, like a thursday or friday.

So post-up when you guys are free, I know Deen3 you were up for it right? Let's try and get it done asap because then it's put off and it never happens. So let's shoot for this thursday or friday, if not next thursday or friday the latest.
