Davidsonville MD. I've seen a couple around my area (Anne Arundel County). I've seen an Avus, a few Blacks (mine is black), white, red, and I think that's it.

Haha you don't want a photo shoot with me right now. My whole front end is messed up from when I learned a lesson about drinking and driving. I have an M bumper sitting in my room but I still need to get some more money together for a new nose panel, any supports behind it, and getting it all painted. It was an expensive lesson.

Guys, I'm in Annapolis, but it seems I might not be a 318ti owner much longer. had an overheat problem thanks to more cheap BMW plastic crap. Engine damage might be too much, it's at the shop now. 10 years of meticulous maintenance to see a piece of cheap plastic do such damage really turns me off from buying another BMW.

What happened exactly?

I'm, in Annapolis by the way, and looking for a 318ti. If anyone hears of something in the area please shoot me a PM or something.

Where are you getting the work done? I have a friend in Mayo that runs a shop that does quite a bit of BMW work there and he's had some pretty cool cars in and out. s52 e30's, e34 m5's etc. If there's anything I can do to help lemme know, or if you decide to part it out I can probably take some stuff of your hands and help you sell the rest.

Radiator? Every car I have ever owned had plastic radiators, not only BMW.
How fara did you drive overheated?

It was a plastic flange that connects a rad hose to the back of the engine. One of those "out of sight out of mind" things. The plastic flange cracked. I know everyone uses plastic for their radiators (I just replaced the radiator in that car a few weeks ago), but this is rediculous. The BMW engineers are basing the longevity of a high end German car on some cheap plastic. Shut the car off as soon as the problem was noticed, but unfortunately it wasnt noticed until white smoke (coolant) came out the exhaust. Really, how many people look at their temp needle every 30 seconds or so. They need to put a flashing light and buzzer on that thing. Took it to a place in Annapolis.

Was that your car in the 2006 calendar?Yes. The blue one in the rain. I didn't have a worthy picture for 2007.
