Ok, about 3500 miles ago i replaced the factor wheels on my E46 2002 325i. I upgraded to 19x8.5's with 235/35-19 Toyo Proxes T1R tires. Since this time, i've noticed "road steer" when driving over bumps or rough road surfaces. I can feel the steering wheel pull away from me. This pulling also differentiates in severity depending on the condition of the road.

I have done a search on these forums and found some information relating to bushings etc. but I did not find a direct answer.

So my question to you guys is, is this "road steer" normal to some degree when a large wheel set is placed on the car? Does anyone else have this occur in their setups?

Its not just the size, but primarily the tires (compound/tread design/depth). Some treads cause a lot of pull, but they usually are the directional ones, like T1R.
