How was wondering if anyone knows how many horsepower E46 WCT cars had to the wheels (on dynojet with the 2.5L motor)???

I don't know about the Bimmers, but most cars have around 250-275 at the wheels. I do know that some have more than that.

Bimmerworld's site says they were making 290+, not positive if that was to the wheels or crank hp.

That is def. not crank. WC numbers are closely guarded. All I can say is they haul arse for 2.5's. I don't even want to know what the Acura's are putting out. The BMWs are def at least 315 to 330 crank

Fastest WC Touring Cars are comparable to a quick CM car. My guess would be somewhere around 290rwhp give or take a little.

WCT cars are fast, the cars themselves are not as fast as the top Cm guys though, just the drivers in WCT can take advantage of the better setup cars.

With considerably more HP, less weight, big slicks, better aero, Cm/Dm are faster cars...but that does not mean they will be quick: That depends on the driver :)

I had a very basic 2.5L WCT motor, on Motec it made over 290bhp. With the newer motors and rules, over 300bhp is probably the minumum to be competitive.

Would you say that the Audi makes 145 RWHP, and 145 FWHP? Or maybe it's 174 rear, 116 front.

On another thought, would the E90s be better off if you kept the E46 engine? Audi got to keep the 1.8t in the B7 cars. I don't know enough about BMW engines.

By the way, are you still in the area? I'm going to pass on the M3 wheels, but if you have any 18" street tires up there, I may be interested.

I'm back home in the east. No worries on the M3 wheels, and I don't have anything else up there right now.
