I never heard of alumapro until a few days ago I was wondering if it was a decent speaker I was also wondering how it sounds in the bsw enclosure.

any thoughts would be great.

I have one in the lightweight box, it put out more then enough bass for me. I am pushing it with a JL 500/1, my only complain is that I can not figure out hoe to stop the ratteling fron the muffler heat shield.:help

do you already have the hardware e.g. enclosure and sub? if not and you're set on alumapro, i can vouch for the bp or bandpass series they make.

i have a bp-10 with an alusonic 10" which is rated from 20-80hz and they weren't kidding with the specs. my is rated to run 300 watts bridged off the 5th and 6th channels and that sub does an excellent job with my wide variety of music.

i say this also because the majority if not all the bsw enclosures look huge compared to my 12"x15"x17" sub box.

check them out here

It would be smart if they did!

To my knowledge. They have never been IDQ subwoofers. There were some MB Quart woofers and now the AlumaPro exclusively.

forget the sub part, the bsw box i have is built really well. It's durable, the fitment is perfect, which makes life so much easier and it looks so fooking good sitting perched in the trunk.

Im not worried about the integrity of the enclosure I love the way it mounts. I worried about the quality of the speaker and if I dont like it I want to know what other brand of speaker that may sound proper in the enclosure?
