Prior to owning the car, my Uncle decided to play chicken with a deer and the deer went out with a bang. The collision involved the driver's side light. So the lens fell out already and the thing is wire tied into the housing ...its just plain old ugly not to mention won't give me visibility on the road.

Sooo, these are the lights I'm looking at:
-European Projector Headlights with Smiley
Available at Pelicanparts.com for $231 as a pair...

Now from what I've learned so far from cars is that good products don't come at a cheap price. Are these potentially CRAP?

I'd really like to know what some of you other fellas have replaced yours with and a part number or direct web link to where you got them from...a picture says plenty.

Btw..Sorry if this has been posted before but I'm in a rush to get a replacement and don't want to web crawl through post that don't directly say where items were obtained and the quality of them. Thanks!

They could be pretty decent. There is stuff like that floating around E-Bay for that kind of price and the quality isn't too bad. Do you have pics?

Those look remarkably similar to the DEpos you can get on ebay for $160 bucks from redcomet something or another.
they arent' OEm so don't pay that much for them. At that price you might as well get depos and lamin-x.

I did see a set of 4 frenchies go for $179 a few months ago though

+1 Depo. They're not too bad but keep your eyes out on Ebay. I will have a set of after market Halos for sale like next week if you want to buy them. Hopefully by then my euro smilies will be here!:buttrock Let me know.

Peace,
Jayson

I was able to get some original Hella E34 Euro smilies off of eBay last month for $250 - shipped. From Switzerland.

Keep looking...
