Can these fit a e36 and if not a direct bolt on what are the mods needed to make them fit.

i'm guessing the offsets are way too low since they came off a five series...

your fender would be riding in the middle of the tire/wheel... right?

I think they should be ok. They are from 5 series bimmer, so offset wouldn't be lower that 15mm. But wheels are not wide, so they might be ok, it is just 8Jx17. I think you wouldn't even need fender rolling in this situation. Just get hubcentric rings to be able to mount wheels on your hub.

do an aol search for wheel offset calculator put the numbers of wheels you now have and the wheels you want to buy and it will tell you exactly how much the wheel will move in the wheel well then you can measure how much room you now have and you will know if it works or not this takes out all the guess work hope this helps
