So I just bought an 07' 3.0I with the sport package. Its an amzing car, and I wish I could ditch work and drive it all day. But I have a two questions. First what suspension upgrades does the sport package include? Also I have the 10 speaker stereo system, why does it raise the volume when I drive fast, and lower the volume when I slow down automatically? Can I disable that? Its quite annoying.

It raises and lowers to pump you up when needed. JOKING! :)

I would assume there is an electrical error somewhere.

I thought i noticed that in my M, I figured it was auto volume correction

Read your owner's manual.

The Z4 has a higher degree of volume correction for speed than the other cars do. In the manual, it explains how to adjust it. As for the suspension ... I'm not sure.

Seriously? The faster you go the louder it gets?

Please explain

Yes... the faster you go, the louder it gets. Most newer BMWs do this, the convertibles just have this set to a higher default (it adjusts more based on speed).

Lots of cars have speed sensitive volume control these days. I got some flavor of Chevy rental car from Budget this morning in LA that even has it.

There should be an adjustment for how sensitive it is described somewhere in your audio system manuals. We had to adjust it on my wife's X3.

The catalog only states the sport package has an upgraded suspension, but does not specify if its just sway bars, or a complete strut, spring, sway bar upgrade.
