bigrojo37 02-26-2007, 05:24 PM I agree...you have got to be shitting me.
MPD47 02-26-2007, 05:33 PM Absolutely rediculous. Honda has gone off the deep end.
thedaddy 02-26-2007, 05:47 PM Its only paint rights?
M3BimmerBilly 02-26-2007, 05:53 PM the most anti-hetero car on the grid. Renault actaully looks good now. that is going to look like crap on TV
CaracasE30 02-26-2007, 06:00 PM Hahahaha, when i read the title of the thread i started laughing. The car aesthetically looks very nice, but the paint scheme is indeed a bit on the wild side (in a sense).
huggybear 02-26-2007, 06:23 PM marketing propaganda.
snapback 02-26-2007, 06:48 PM
Well that is about the coolest electric ...car ... I am sorry, what? This thing runs on fossil fuel?

Oh, never mind, nothing to see here.

gobuffs 02-26-2007, 06:57 PM They need something to get them on TV- they are still going to be just another back marker. *ducking*
Boosted2003 02-26-2007, 07:39 PM Rubens looks gay.
LJSE34 02-26-2007, 09:23 PM hey what happened to the title!
Ah I understand :)
bmwretard 02-26-2007, 10:03 PM How ironic :rofl
///Mpmp1025 02-26-2007, 11:21 PM i liked the all black paint scheme, much better than the world. but i guess u cant really hate on the world.
there drivers look thrilled to be driving the world around all the F1 tracks.
RRdawho? 02-26-2007, 11:34 PM Well if you can't gain recognition one way, here's another way when your in the back of the pack.
Honda realizes that a majority of people (not us) knows jack $hit about cars and will think, oh Honda cares about the environment with their racing car, and be happy etc.
Remember 95% of the world is content with only filling up their gas tank and knowing nothing else. I had a guy at work today complain that his scroll bar was moving too slow when he pressed down. :rolleyes amazing...
ReiheSechs 02-27-2007, 12:28 AM fucking horrible
Bane2871 02-27-2007, 12:03 PM fucking horrible
The paint scheme or what it is supposed to represent?
dmundy 02-27-2007, 12:25 PM Am I the only one who thinks J. Button is the most overrated driver in F1?
vjlax18 02-27-2007, 02:27 PM What the hell were they thinking?

Lambinator 03-02-2007, 11:13 PM Someone at Speed has the inside scoop on this paint scheme:

bigrojo37 03-03-2007, 08:24 PM I was just reading an article on motorsport.com about how environmental groups are calling the Honda move as a very "ironic" move. One of the arguments is that F1 is the most processes in the world. Although i agree that it is pretty ironic that Honda did it, i find it to be very annoying that these groups say that F1 contributes the most in these polluting issues. Yes, F1 does use infinite amount of oil products and it does pollute a ton, but come on, there are a ton of other things that are a lot worst than F1. I see it like this: Every or most car makers are producing environmentally friendly cars. HOWEVER, every car maker that is now producing those environmentally friendly cars have also produced MILLIONS of cars over the last 30-40 years that have contributed to mass pollution. SO, my argument is, why dont these environmental groups go after those car makers that are producing cleaner cars? and why must they go after an F1 team that is campaigning in favor of a cleaner environment?? I think its IRONIC that these groups are going after an F1 team that is "trying" to help the environment. Its just idiotic that all this happened in the first place.

although i understand ur point and i aggree w/ur point, but u can go after the car manufactures for stuff they did in the past. they cant recall all of there past autos to replace there engines w/more fuel efficient engines.
bigrojo37 03-03-2007, 11:08 PM I understand....this is really a hardy topic to argue about. GoD I CANT WAIT FOR AUSTRALIA.....cheers
Analog 03-04-2007, 12:44 AM I think it looks badass. Not my cup of tea, but badass none-the-less.
Jim Sykes 03-04-2007, 04:05 PM I just think its stupid that you would "advertise" the idea of being green on race car. Racing is such an unbelievable waste of fuel and money, not to mention the pollution put out.
I'm not a greenie by any means and have no problem with racing in general. But to try to enlighten people about the environment in such a way as this is just silly.
If Honda was really concerned, they should take their hundreds of millions spent on F1 and put it toward things that can actually make a change.
JC540 03-04-2007, 05:49 PM I think it looks badass. Not my cup of tea, but badass none-the-less.
I agree. It's similar to a space view of the earth. Not bad at all.:)
SHAHAB323IS 03-04-2007, 06:24 PM looks cool, but since when did earth become a sponsor =]
Stephen V 03-04-2007, 06:50 PM this is so dumb
one trans-atlantic flight pollution created=one year of all of F1 pollution created
Kos-motate139 03-08-2007, 03:26 PM Yeah it's painted in planet earth "To help raise awareness of the environmental issues facing the planet"
Translation -
"Our car isn't any better than last year, we couldn't find a title sponsor to put up the 40 million, and our drivers are mediocre hacks that only do well when most of the rest of the field crashes out. Our funny paint scheme has two purposes this year - 1. Bring our car to your attention now since you won't see us on the podium - 2. Camouflage our car into the background when Super Aguri passes us. Hope you root for us next year!"

Rubens is far from a mediocre hack.

Haha, seems a good way to judge a company huh. People are ridiclous
Kos-motate139 03-22-2007, 08:27 PM Okay, that was too funny...for a while I thought Super Aguri was going to beat the honda works cars in the race. Ah well, there's always Malaysia.
