Dropped my 540 off on the 22nd to have some warranty work done. 2-1/2 working days later my car is still sitting in the shop untouched:mad So far it is my impression that this company is a joke. I was told they need a full writen estimate before they will approve any work. Fairly reasonable,I guess. This after I was told I did not have a warranty with them, the 3K hole in my wallet and contract says I do have a warranty. I am getting pretty angry at this point. I am trying to figure out who is BSing me ect. I have been on the phone with the owner of the dealer twice a day trying to get this resolved and get the work on my car done. At this point I have to bite my tongue and try to be nice:mad Does it really have to be this tough to get work performed and paid for with an extended warranty?

call the dealer who sold you the car/warranty. Tell them that the servicing dealer claims that you don't have any coverage. Imply to the selling dealer that they may have ripped you off by not providing you a real warranty. In order to cover their own butt, that dealer who sold you the car will call up the servicing dealer to defend you and hopefully get them working on your car.

I already did:cool I believe the salesman who sold me the warranty was let go over this little hiccup. I am dealing with the owner of the dealer who sold me the car and warranty:D This is pretty much just an inconvienance to me as I would rather be driving my bmw instead of my truck, but I am having alot of fun driving the truck:evil2

A lot of aftermarket warrenties are not worth the paper they are written on. I don't know if yours is one of them or not, but it is a pretty shady industry in general.

so it is not even worth the time to look into aftermarket companies offering extended warranties?

The owner of the dealership just called. My car is getting done asap and they upgraded my warranty to a totaly different company with better coverage and longer coverage period and they are eating the cost difference.:D
