Hi All, I have done some searching on this and can't discern if what I have with my driver's side seat is the same as is being discussed in other threads...so...I thought I would go ahead and ask.

I have a 92 525i, and the driver's seat(back part) seems to be skewed back and to the right. What I mean is if I sit in the seat the left side of my back seems to contact the seat but my right side doesn't. It is very slight, but noticeable...not at all affecting driveability but I am curious to see if there is a fix or is the fix to just buy another seat? Does that discription make sense?

Thanks in advance...if you know if other threads that discuss, please link...

Yup, you are.

When you adjust the seatback, one side will move and the other won't, TWISTING the seat.

That's why it's called "twisty seat".

There are a ton of fixes, a few which have been linked to in the past few days.

I guess it's not on www.bmwe34.net, but you can google it and see what you come up with.

Thanks...I thought that is probably what it was and I didn't see anything on 34.net...but a search revealed the fix...looks like the headrest fix with the tilt motors...
thanks again...
