I plan on towing the car down (except on long straightaways), I got a car trailer but I think the hills are gonna be a lil too much for the 3.0l X5. I wonder if car enterprises or some other car rental company has SUV's with towing hitches.

I know for a fact enterprise does not, and am almost positive no other place CAR rental place will allow towing. Only budget/uhaul etc. allow towing.

2 billion e36 and e46 m3's. Mostly of the same colors. :rolleyes

usually hidden are some real gems, alpina 2002's, turbo e21's, turbo e30's, etc etc. It's pretty fun, but most of the real fun is to be had at night in Santa Barbara.

2000 fricken miles round-trip.

Might have to steal the old ladies E93 and polish off those break-in miles.

There has to be a place that rents out SUV's with towin hitches, I can really care less if they allow towing, as long as they got a hitch, its game on. UHaul would get expencive considering they charge by the mile and rollin 2000 miles in a UHaul would be torture.

Well in that case, there are some that have places to stick the hitch. Though, if you are caught you are F'ed! I agree though 2K miles in a Uhaul = death!

Im just gonna roll the X5. It does more than fine around town, and worse case, Ill just roll the car off and drive it over the hillls 30-40miles on the border from OR to CA.
