The rotors are part of the hats. So yes, they come with the hats. I think this is what you are asking. Jimmy 94calypsored 02-25-2007, 11:25 PM why are you selling them? 95///M3 02-25-2007, 11:32 PM They were going to go on my old E36 and I was thinking about putting them on the LTW but I want to keep it original. Jimmy 94calypsored 02-26-2007, 12:08 AM but didn't the LTW originaly come with floaters? 95///M3 02-26-2007, 12:28 AM Nope, not to my knowledge. Havent actually pulled the wheels but I dont think so. I will confirm this tomorrow. Jimmy mose121 02-26-2007, 01:33 AM The rotors are part of the hats. So yes, they come with the hats. I think this is what you are asking. Jimmy well the hats are usually sold separatly, so that's why I asked. Hats aren't usually changed when the rotors need replaced. The new rotor gets bolted to the old hat. Jay4334 02-26-2007, 03:09 AM whats the diff between floating rotors and regular ones? 95///M3 02-26-2007, 09:17 AM whats the diff between floating rotors and regular ones? The floating rotors are a two piece design and are intended to dissipate heat better. They were originally installed on all of the European M3's. These are less prone to warpage. They are also lighter which will reduce your unsprung weight. Jimmy RRSperry 02-26-2007, 10:28 PM well the hats are usually sold separatly, so that's why I asked. The MS rotors are 2 part, yes, that are formed at the factory into a complete unit, they do not come apart... 95///M3 02-26-2007, 10:35 PM Boy that is so wrong, where to start... The MS rotors are 2 part, yes, that are formed at the factory into a complete unit, they do not come apart... Yeah, definately. I was mighty confused by his original question. Still for sale. 328 Power 04 02-27-2007, 09:39 PM they're for m3 only right? 94calypsored 02-27-2007, 09:46 PM they're for m3 only right? They fit M3 only, but M3 brake calipers can be installed on other E36's so you can have them on your 328.
