I'm not sure if this has been asked before but does anyone know where I can get some custom plastic or carbon panels made for DIN pieces and the like. I actually want to get a plastic or carbon piece made up for my glove box to hold my electronic controllers and meters. And possible a plastic piece to replace where my ashtray goes... etc

not sure about the cf dude, though i would love to know a place that works with it..

as for the plastics there is a perspex place at smithfield which deals with plastics and cutting.. they may be able to help..

Bodyform in Lansvale works with Carbon Fibre, as does Jetspeed in Moorebank.

Aaron: is that perspex place right near the intersection of Cumberland Hwy and Woodpark Rd?

Pete/ Aaron - Thanks for your help. Do you know roughly if this sort of work costs much?

Pete - Do you know where Andrew got his plastic thing done for where he mounted his RSM before on his old skyline?

i doubt the plastic work is worth much, but would depend on size and shape i guess?
i am going down there today to get some black perspex, il let you know how much it sets me back :)

for the cf work i guess you'd have to speak to the places pete listed..

I'd have to ask Merli but he's in your hood now, dawg...

What kind of shapes are you guys looking at? Grab yourself a sheet of perspex/acrylic, cut to size with some tools, bend with a heat gun if necessary and sand the edges with wet/dry paper + brasso.
