I don't think BMW hit the mark on this one. The engine sounds like a technological wonder but the body has lost all of its refinement! It looks like a Hundai with a bimmer grill and headlights. I wonder what the sport package will look like?

I have an old 750IL, and it is a force to be reconed with, even after all these years, just the mere look of it strikes terror into the heart of everyone, but the new 7 just looks too fluffy, and soft, where is the edggyness and aggressiveness?

Of course I did not like the look of the 996 when it first came out either, now I WANT a GT-2.

My eyes were immediately drawn to the Pontiac Aztec look alike turn signals over the head light. The rear looks like the ill fated Olds Aurora.

The likelyhood that I'll ever own one is nil (for financial reasons) so what does my opinion matter.

The new 7 looks like it has Lexus GS lines. It's not so svelte anymore. Maybe more cherubic.

Gonna miss the old 7 series (well, the current one i mean)

At least the E46's look more agressive on the road...they are more bulbous (rounded) but they just look mean! The new 7 is for the ladies...
