Does anyone know if BMW would ever release an M3 sedan?

The E36 M3 came in sedan form, and there has been spy shots of what have looked to be an E90 M3 sedan. So yes, it is quite possible.

i'm really crossing my fingers that bmw comes out with the e90 m3. that would be great!

So far to date, the e90 m3 will indeed have the e92(m3) front headlights/bumper. The prototyle has its exhaust pipes hidden like the e39 and some of mercades last gen E and S class cars. This is probably done to not draw attention to itself.

Or it will be called the bmw 340i? lol


I would love for them to turbo the e90/e92 m3. That would be crazey!! 450hp! and tunable to 550 easily! or something like that... (just throwing the idea out there)
