I know testing times are often considered meaningless, but...
After Day 1 testing in Bahrain, where the Ferraris were 1,2. Nick Heidfeld took his BMW Sauber F1.07 to the top of the timesheets on Day 2, .8 tenths quicker than the next man, one F. Alonso using that other German-based powerplant in his McLaren.
Go BMW!!!
:) :)

Being fast on the long runs is a very good sign. They can always take out fuel and go fast for a lap, but to show speed over a consecutive series of laps is very encouraging. It is what was said about Renault before Alonso went on his championship runs. Hope the reliability is there and it will be good.

The BMW are proving not very reliable. Mostly gearbox/hydraulic issues i think. They have shown good speed, but I don't think they are in the same league as Ferrari and Mclaren. Massa just set the fastest time today. They are looking good.

BMW has consistently run the most laps, I have no idea where you got the BMW is not reliable thing from.

When you've got speed, you talk about reliability. I've heard they are amazed at the speed they've found and are trying to adjust to assure reliability.
