My Dad passed away in December and now my Mom is looking for someone to help her manage her assets.

She's looking for someone local to Annapolis or Baltimore, who will work on an hourly basis (vs. percentage of assets) to help her develop an investment strategy.

Anyone have somebody they'd recommend? Thanks!

Matt -

Sorry about your loss.

Contact me offline. I formerly headed the DC office of the Financial Planning Association and know alot about how you might identify the "right" financial planner.

Matt - really sorry to hear about your loss.

If your mom needs help with financial planning, she can contact my wife. She is a financial advisor with Ameriprise (formerly known as American Express Financials). PM me if you'd like her contact info.

Matt, sorry for your loss.

One of the NCC instructors is a CFP - I think Neil probably knows who I am talking about (Glenn). No personal experience with him.
