Can someone give me a rundown of the different manufacturers of strut tower braces for the M Roadster / Coupe? Any opinions? Weights?

The StrongStruts always look nice but pretty heavy, then again if it's too light I would suspect it might not work as well. No reason to spend $400-$500 to defeat the purpose :)

The OE one would be best/cheapest I'm guessing.

I went back and forth on this one as well.

I decided that for the Strong strut to *look* right,
I would also need to install the firewall braces as well.

The OEM bar looks fine with the existing firewall braces....
so, that's the way I went.

As far as functionality....
I don't know how you could conclusively say one is better than the other.

I went with OEM and it looks just fine. Unless you are into having something flashy I would think the OEM is a better way to go. It is lighter than most the other ones I have seen and fits perfectly. I had mine done at the same time as a Z8 owner and he was also going with OEM for the same reasons (was cool seeing our 2 cars in the shop next to one another).
