My radiator neck grenaded on me today. Luckily it was right after I got home and put the car in the garage, so it happened at the best possible time. :stickoutt

Anyone have a hookup to get one cheap locally? Best I've found so far seems to be about $180 at bimmerparts which seems a bit high.

Thanks!

Tim, how many miles did your car have? As Mark suggested, give Stett a try, they had a pallet full of them.

Thanks for the suggestions. Yeah, I found that thread and PMed Chase just after I posted this... haven't gotten a response back yet, but I'm hoping he still has some of them.

My car has 111k on it. The current radiator was installed at around 75k I think.

I was kinda pissed when it first happened. Right after I got home from work, I went out to the backyard with my dogs and heard a sound like someone had just dumped a bucket of water out in my garage. Walked out there and saw coolant all over the floor... !!($)!U$)@)$(!#U$)(!!

But then I realized that I had just driven all the way home from downtown, and how lucky I was that it didn't explode while I was downtown or on the highway... and I was actually quite happy with the outcome :stickoutt

Yeah, I think this was the best case scenario.

I need some hot wings and some help detailing the E46. Why don't you deliver me some of that.

Thanks for the offer. :buttrock

I think I'm set though. My wife works 5 minutes away from our house so we can get by pretty easily with one car if I shuttle her to and from work.

I have one in my garage. Has about 50K on it. Belongs to Roadstermike but I am sure he'll let it go cheap.
