I've had both the 3.45open which I have for sale now and I currently have the 3.45LSD, the 3.45 was nice but there is a significant difference in the LSD. I wouldn't trade mine for twice what you're asking.

Yo man if you clean off the tag I circled well it will tell you what the ratio is. If it has an "S" stamped after the ratio it is LSD. Maybe clean it off and repost a pic for interested parties assurance that it's lsd.

I dont think this would work on a e36 other then a 318ti. I believe it will also work for Mroadsters/Mcoupe/Z3.

It is a LSD, its got a "S" on that tag. But I need to find a digital camera to prove it!!! Anyway, I really dont know how to tell if it is a 3.45 or not, but everyone has been saying because it a e36 318 manual, the LSD from the manufacture is a 3.45 ratio. But I will post pic and the serial # on that LSD tomorrow!!!
