Hey guys,
I am in Houston, TX on work and it seems my dell latitude d600 notebook charger is malfunctioning and works intermittently. It wont charge my batteries, and has a short in the cord, so i have to bend it around to get it to at least run my notebook on AC power. Because Monday is a holiday, I cant receive my charger from home via overnight until Wednesday. I tried buying one that he dell store in the galleria but they don't have any product. I tried a vendor on ebay that is within 10 miles from here, but he hasn't emailed back.
Would anyone be willing to let me borrow a charger and is near the embassy suites hotel by the galleria in Houston? I would pay them and it would only be for a week. Thanks for the help guys.

Is it a visible breach in the cord?
1 ) It is dangerous to use it like that
2 ) It would be easy to fix with some shrink tube and soldering iron.

It isnt visible, but it is right at the end where the cord plugs into the wall. Thanks for the suggestions guys, I finally found a place that sold liquidation computer stuff, $60 cab ride for a $16 dollar cord. Glad I get reimbursed for cab rides.

i'll check on saturday, thats when i work. not sure how cheap i can score a tripod but i think i can score charger/batteries super cheap......like ultra cheap:D
