well a friend of mine, mike salter, said he would help me detail my car with a porter cable. He's a Adams product vendor in our area so he knos what hes doing. he showed me how to use the porter cable, explained the pads, products, pretty much taught me how to do it all. i plan on ordering a full line or adams products through him and a PC along with that. we first clayed the entire car to strip off all the dirt and the old polish that was on there. followed that up by a 2 coats of swirl remover and then a coat of paint reviver. we finished it off with a layer of wax since we didnt have a lot of time. Mike also dressed the car up with a few individual products during all of this while i was applying all of the products. well heres some pics of the final results

Looks great, what year is it 97/98? I've got the 01 lights on mine too. Black cars look awsome when they shine like that.

thanks, i thought the pics came out better then i was expecting. i took them with a digital camera and had no tripod so all those shots were takin by hand.

not saying its a crappy job, but to truly see what a swirl cutter/PC can do for black paint, you really need macro shots in direct sun... not flourescent lighting and not overcast/dim/dusk lighting... looks clean none-the-less... never heard of that brand of detailing product, but as long as it's a synthetic polymer it can't be all bad... though i am concerned because the colors of every one of those products is exactly the same as tropi-care... the detailing world had a lot of copycat products for a long time and tropi-care actually changed the colors of their products to be different than any others... but every single one of those is the same... i wasn't able to find any research on the durability or the protection level of that polish outside of the manufacturers site... again not saying it's bad but it's definitely new to me...
