Hi all,
I am installing a retrofit OBC and have all the bits including the BMW wiring loom kit. I also have the BMW installation procedure. It has details for connecting wires to X182, X183, X188, X1182, X1019 and X1067 all in the fan-connector box.
Firstly, how do I know what connections are what from these numbers
Secondly, the BMW procedure says that the fan-connector box is on the Drivers side but the procedure was written for a LHD and I have a RHD. I think I have found the connections on the right hand side but I'm not sure.
Finally, it says to connect the Branch for Earth brown/orange wire to the Fan Connector X1000`9 behind the glove box. Again I don't know whether this will now be behind my glove box on the other side or under the steering wheel ? I cannot find any other wires that are brown/orange and wonder do these just connect to any earth point ?
