My friend brings his 323 into Autoscope cuz his right HID went out. GUESS WHAT!! they told him it needs a new bulb, ballast ,AND light control module. total cost with labor $1400 +/- WTF !!!! :eek: :eek:

3 minutes at my house. found a dead bulb. swap with my m3. done. lights up and he's driving with it now...

I'm Jerry. Please ask you bud for the info. If someones giving the wrong diagnosis and selling unneeded work I need to know who it is. I have no problem with selling jobs at the national labor times x hourly rate + parts, but in return you should get a thurough diagnosis, excellent customer service, and the repair done right the first time. Agreed?

Yah I worked with Jerry at Autoscope hes owned some cool cars. When I take my car there hes the guy I'd ask to look at my car. He did the auto-manual swap on the M3. Might bring the M3 by its running like shit but currently having the S/C rebuilt cuz it puked oil into the motor.

I'm surprised, I have never had any problems with them.
On the contrary, I wanted to have my car aligned and since the numbers I requested had not changed since my last DE at MSR, they only charged me for an inspection $65.
Now, that is honesty from a shop.
They could have pretended it was off and charge me the full fee.
I recently got a Dinan exhaust from them for my M3 with $100 off retail, plus a 10% Rebate from Dinan....PRICELESS!!!
I have dealt always with Paul and have had no issues.

Ah, you know. I was on DI and found a link to this thread and just wanted to find out the whole story. We're all human and subject to mistakes but if there is somone at the shop selling uneeded work then there is a problem that needs to be delt with. Call me Monday at the shop @972-867-7467.

I'll attest to Jerry being #1. He helped me get my LCM programmed on my 540 a few months ago. Great guy, i wouldn't let anyone there except him or JD work on my car. Too bad JD's not around there anymore.
