Ok guys i made a thread about this as soon as the problem occured. The problem began with the seat leaning towards one side(to my right). I drove the car crooked till I had enough time to remove the seat on a sunday and see what the problem is. I noticed that one side of the seat is raised because the thigh suport motor must have failed ... eventually after figuring out it could be manually spun with the drill we manually spin it to a flat setting. After completing that the rest of the controls are unresponsive as are the sunroof(wich i reset cuz i rememberd how to) and the telescopic wheel wasnt working and also the air bag light kicked on. I am not worried about the silly light but rather concerned because my nees get in the way of me driving my baby.

Any advice or reset options that may make the seat work are very helpful

does anyone have a functioning driver seat they wanna get rid of ?
or a motor they have laying around

soemtimes if you hit the seat controls immediately after you remove the key, it freezes all those functions until the next time you start the car and remove the key again. Then they will all work. Sometimes that happens to me..... just a thought......

The seat controls, steering wheel controls and seat\seat memory are controlled by the seat control module in the seat. The control module sometimes hangs up and all of the above controls quit working. There are two fuses that you can pull in the glove box fuse panel to reset the control module. The fuse numbers are 13 and 21 for driver seat adjustment and number 13 fuse again for the steering column adjustment.

If you did not disconnect the battery before removing the seat out of the car then when you put it back in it tripped your SRS light. Before removing the front seats you must disconnect the battery. The only way to reset the SRS light is by going to the dealer or buying Peake SRS reset tool.

Key in position 2 pull fuse 13 put it back in than the same with 21. All of your seat memory settings will be reset.
